| Bio: | I am a mid 20s MidWestern girl in the middle of having my quarter life crisis. I'm not sure what I want to do with my life - pursue engineering career, work on an biological or environmental engineering PhD, become a technical writer for a company, teach some science or math course in K-12, become a writer, or become a poet. So focused on the above I've never been in a long time relationship or found the right someone (sigh sadly) I've been a scifi and fantasy fan since my brother first forced me infront of a TV to watch Battle Star Galactica and Doctor Who (at the time I didn't understand what they were). BTW, it was Peter Davison I first watched. Now I enjoy most scifi shows and have found my heart stolen by a few of the characters for varies reasons. I only recently returned to watching the Doctor, when my brother once again sat me down in front of the TV right before Christmas 2005. I come from a four person family, and I'm the youngest person in my family, but only one to have lived in the same house on the same street in the same town in the same state in the same country my entire life (gahhh!) That's why I'm so excited to be out of the house and living in apartment far from my home state (which I admit I do miss from time to time). I am always an avit writer. I enjoy all sorts of writing: general fiction, fantasy, science fiction, poetry, general non-fiction, journalism, research papers, summary papers,etc. I suppose that's why I'm going after a Masters in journalism at the moment. I still don't know if I'll become a journalist, but I do hope to at least add it to my list of skills. I am a dog lover!!!!! I'm not saying I don't like cats, because I've met a few cats that truly call amazing and good friends, but if I had to choose it would be dogs for me. Unless I could somehow have both, living in harmony in my home.
